Over 10 years of experience breeding food corn (waxy corn, sweet corn, fruit corn) at VNUA, applying multivariate analysis, SSR molecular markers, and machine learning to phenotypic and genetic evaluation for breeding. Co-developed two officially recognized hybrid corn varieties and contributed to three plant-variety-protection filings. Principal investigator on institute-level projects; team member on national- and ministry-level projects. Author or co-author of 40+ publications in domestic and international journals.

- Phenomics & Genomics: Integrating complex plant trait data with genetic structures to optimize precision agriculture.
- Crop Breeding and Improvement: Accelerating the development of hardier, high-yield crop varieties to combat climate and environmental stress.
- Remote Sensing & Computer Vision: Applying multi-sensor Earth observation and deep learning to map, monitor, and forecast production in perennial tree-crop systems.
