Selection of Elite Purple Waxy Corn Hybrids by MGIDI Multivariate Selection Method in Vietnam

Applies the multi-trait genotype-ideotype distance index (MGIDI) to identify elite purple waxy corn hybrids simultaneously for yield, quality, and stability. This selection process led to VNUA191 and VNUA261, both later granted plant-variety protection.
